I had the opportunity recently to talk on our Facebook page about safe sleep for babies and answer questions from parents about a wide range of topics, including the ABC’s of safe sleep, crib bumpers and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). I encourage you to watch the video above to see this engaging conversation.

This was a great opportunity to get to answer in more detail some of the most common questions we get from parents. Is there a correlation between SIDS and unsafe sleep? Can a bassinet or Pack ‘n Play be just as safe as a crib? What are the risks associated with unsafe sleep environments for babies? Why is it not safe to cosleep or share a bed with a baby?

I really enjoyed getting to speak to these topics, as I believe providing a safe sleeping space for your baby is one of the most important things you can do for your baby. As a parent myself, I know it can be a struggle, so I’m happy to be able to provide some information that can help your whole family get through the night.
