2015 Miracle Treat Day

Sierra creates Blizzard treats at a participating Dairy Queen store in Wauwatosa, Wis.

Summer in Wisconsin is a beautiful thing. The sun is shining. There’s sand between your toes. And if kids are in tow, you may likely hear a resounding chorus of, “Can we get ice cream?” We are America’s Dairyland, after all. On Thursday, July 30, we invite you to plan an ice cream outing and get your fingers a little sticky to help the kids we serve.

A sweet way to support Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin

July 30 is Dairy Queen’s 10th annual Miracle Treat Day. On this day, you can support the kids and families we serve by simply purchasing a Blizzard treat. $1 or more from every Blizzard treat purchased at participating Dairy Queen stores will be donated to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Since inception, Miracle Treat Day has raised more than $100 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America. Last summer, participating Dairy Queen restaurants in Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton and Green Bay raised more than $88,500.

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is proud to be one of 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Events like Miracle Treat Day raise not just funds, but also awareness for member hospitals.

You can help make miracles happen

Channel your inner child and consider saying yes to that request for ice cream. Just once. Because simple gestures, collectively, can make miracles happen for kids in our community.
