When you shop at Kohl’s, do you stop to see the latest kids’ $5 books and plush merchandise on display near the checkout counter? I know I do. The merchandise usually has a classic or popular children’s story theme, and it changes every few months.
Did you know that when you buy Kohl’s Cares books and plush toys at southeastern Wisconsin Kohl’s stores, you are helping to support Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin?
Your purchase makes a direct impact in our community
Kohl’s donates 100 percent of the net profit from Kohl’s Cares merchandise to children’s health and education initiatives across the country. Here in southeastern Wisconsin, that means Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin benefits!
So the next time you are at Kohl’s, consider buying a cute plush toy or a great book for a child in your life knowing that your purchase makes a direct impact in our community.
Keeping kids safe and healthy
Since 2000, Kohl’s has generously committed $12 million to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin to support injury prevention and hospital programming. The Kohl’s Cares Grow Safe & Healthy program works to educate kids and families about how to stay safe in the home, outdoors and on the go.
Lightning McQueen, Dory, Wall-E, Mike Wazowksi, Rex and other popular Disney Pixar characters are in stores and online at Kohls.com now through April 4.
– Bridget Clementi, executive director of community health and education, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Kohl’s Cares share the mission of keeping kids in our community safe, healthy and injury free. That’s why, together, we developed Kohl’s Cares Grow Safe & Healthy, a community injury-prevention program that provides a trusted educational resource for safety in the home, outdoors and on the go.
