Welcome to Children’s Hospital and Health System’s new blog, which we hope will serve as a meeting place for conversation about children’s health. We also plan to offer you a more personal glimpse into what’s happening here at Children’s.
This is an ambitious organization with so many projects in the works–everything from planning the opening of our new west tower in two short months to scheduling field trips for school classes at Children’s Health Education Center to working on Magnet nursing recertification and collaborating on new pediatric research through Children’s Research Institute. None of this would be possible without your support, but what does it all mean? And, the bottom line is, how does this impact children in our care and in the community? We’ll offer our thoughts.
In addition, we’ll keep you informed of new things happening in the world of pediatric health care by connecting you to our experts who can provide timely, topical parenting advice and information on everything from kids and sleep to treating concussions to keeping your child safe through every season.
And, while we’re sharing our take on the important issues of the day, we also want to hear from you. We encourage you to post your comments, and we hope you suggest topics for discussion by sending us an e-mail through the link at the bottom right.
Please check back often. You can subscribe to our blog either as an RSS feed or through your e-mail by clicking the Subscribe by E-mail link on this page, and you’ll receive our updates as they are posted. We look forward to this more personal opportunity for conversation.
